ICommission Programs Return to Commission Programs Bulleted List or Return to Introduction Letter & Bulleted List HIGH TECH PROGRAM (revised 2005) The High Tech program was designed as a method for the agent to be rewarded with extra commission dollars for utilizing our computer technology, and also for the Company to reduce some of the clerical work associated with no money endorsements and policy inquiries, we would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the basic workings of the Program as well as some minor changes. In return for 2.5% in extra commission dollars, the agent agrees to the following: You must submit a minimum of twelve (12) retained policies per year in order to be eligible for the High Tech program. The following types of policies are acceptable: SMP, BOP, Landlords Package, MHO, Dwelling Fire. All policy copies will be mailed to you for delivery. We will no longer be mailing the insured or mortgagee copies. YOU MUST SUBMIT AT LEAST 4 RETAINED POLICIES BY APRIL 1 OF EACH YEAR IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE HIGH TECH PROGRAM. IF YOU DO NOT SUBMIT THE REQUIRED NEW BUSINESS, THE HIGH TECH AGREEMENT WILL BECOME NULL AND VOID, AND YOUR COMMISSION RATE WILL RETURN TO THE RATES STATED IN OUR MANUAL. If you do not submit the required policies and become ineligible for the High Tech program, you may contact us after you have submitted the required policies. You may become eligible for the High Tech program at the start of the next calendar year. Minimum Premium Base: Normally the minimum
written premium base to qualify for the Additional High Tech agreement
is Thirty Five Thousand One dollars ($35,00l).
If the written premium goes below the $35,001. base and the
Agent can display a plan to bring the written premium back up to
$35,001, within a reasonable time, then this agreement will continue. If the Agent premium
volume is under the minimum premium base and the Agent has a history
of sending new business and increasing their written premium on a
regular basis, Fulmont may consider the Agent eligible for this
program. ACH Automated Clearing House) Commission: You must receive
commission by ACH. Agent Commission dollars will normally be placed in
the Agents bank account prior to the 10th of the
month following the prior month end. E-mail
will be sent to the Agent advising what day the money has been placed
in their account. The commission report
can be viewed on the 24/7/365 agent web
site. Each month end the commission report will be placed
in the appropriate section of the
personal agent web page section for viewing. At the beginning
of each year Fulmont will remove the previous years commission
reports. Therefore, if the Agent wants to keep these reports they
should be copied to a word processing program, printed in hard copy,
or print to a view program. ACH Payments: All cash or checks
payable to your agency on behalf of Fulmont will be sent to us via ACH
in accordance with the specific guidelines from Fulmont.
When a check or cash is received with a new policy under the
rating program it is the agents responsibility to record the amount
received on the signature page. For specific instructions refer to the
ACH guidelines for payments and electronic applications. Rating Programs: You must use all rating programs that we have available. You can access our rating program for HO, SL, Dwelling Fire and BOP policies by using the Fulmont Rater Program. Follow all instructions for saving your quotes to be e-mailed to Fulmont. The applications must be e-mailed to the appropriate underwriter. The signature page can be scanned and sent to Fulmont via e-mail or fax. Please retain the original signature page in your file. Your Agency must adhere to the specific guidelines and instructions on these rating programs issued by Fulmont. programs will be either e-mailed or faxed. Loss Notice: Your Agency will
prepare the loss notice template provided by Fulmont and mail it
electronically either by e-mail or fax to the appropriate office of
the Fulmont Claims department. The e-mail should be sent to the appropriate person
in the claims department or you may e-mail to:
claims@fulmontmutual.com.
When the loss notice is sent by fax, it should be faxed to the
appropriate office of Fulmont. In either case
Fulmont will acknowledge the loss notice by sending you a receipt via
e-mail. If you do not
receive this receipt you should immediately resend the loss notice and
contact the appropriate person in the claims department. Photos and Other Underwriting Material: All High Tech Agents will submit digital photos, EMAILED to the correct underwriter. Photo reimbursement will not be given for hard copies of photos, (unless requested by the Company) photocopies of a photo, blurred photos or where the view of the risk is obstructed. Your Agency will complete all other requests for policy or underwriting via e-mail or fax. All replies and quotes from Fulmont will be sent to you via e-mail or fax. Renewal List: Your agency shall complete and return the renewal list to Fulmont's Underwriting department via e-mail or fax. To view your reports, log on to our website at www.fulmontmutual.com. To view your monthly reports, select Agents, Associates & Employees Section. In order to access your agency information, you must use your Login name and Password, which is unique to your specific agency. You will now be able to access your Renewal Listings. If you wish to retain these reports, it is suggested that the report be copied to a word processing program, printed in hard copy, or printed to a view program on your computer. At the beginning of each year, Fulmont will remove the prior year reports.
POLICY SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: No Money Endorsements: A No-Money Endorsement is an endorsement to a policy that does not involve an increase or decrease in premium. Examples of no-money endorsements would be name or address changes, mortgagee or billing changes, and corrections to underwriting information such as Fire Department, Hydrants, Construction or other clerical errors. Please use the correct endorsement form when submitting. The forms must be emailed or faxed to the correct underwriter. The agent will produce and mail the policyholder and mortgagee copies direct to them, and email or fax a copy to the Company. Reports: To view your reports, log on to our website at www.fulmontmutual.com. To view your monthly reports, select Agents, Associates & Employees Section. In order to access your agency information, you must use your Login name and Password, which is unique to your specific agency. You will now be able to access your information reports, including Commission statements, Renewal Listings, Cancellation Listings and Agent Activity reports. If you wish to retain these reports, it is suggested that the report be copied to a word processing program, printed in hard copy, or printed to a view program on your computer. At the beginning of each year, Fulmont will remove the prior year reports. Inquiry: Your Agency will use the inquiry at the policy data menu on our 24/7/365 website to check up to date accounts receivable on your policyholder accounts. You will log on to our website at www.fulmontmutual.com. Scroll down until you find Check Policy Status on the left side of our site (below Paying your bill by Credit Card). Click on Check Policy Status. At Policyholder Data, enter the policy number you wish to check. Click on submit or use your enter key. You must use the correct policy number or you will be advised NO ENTRIES FOUND. Please note our policy numbers begin with a letter H3, F2, SD, etc. and contain 13 digits. Please do not use the 01, 02, 03 found at the beginning of the policy number. This refers to our office location only. Do not use any numbers beyond 13 digits on our bills we have a billing number that is located next to our policy number. A regular policy number will look like this - H3 01 01 00000 01. If you need to check on a name or address change, you must log on your web page and select POLICYHOLDER/CLAIM DATA. Enter your policy number on the policy data line to find a copy of the declarations page. If a policy has been cancelled off our system, you will be advised NO ENTRIES FOUND.
