New direct bill payment plan
TO AGENTS OF FULMONT MUTUAL
I love it when we have good news to tell our agents! Our new Direct Bill Payment Plan program has been approved and is almost ready to be offered to our policyholders. We feel our expanded payment plan will offer our policyholders another option during these trying economic times.
The new (and improved) Direct Bill Payment Plan will offer the same two plans we currently have in place (Full Payment or 4-Payment) as well as a 6-Payment and 8-Payment plan. The 6-Payment Plan will require a 25% down payment and the remaining five payments of 15% will be due in 60, 90, 120, 150 and 180 days from the inception date of the policy.
The 8-Payment Plan will require a 30% down payment and the remaining seven payments of 10% will be due in in 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, 210 and 240 days from the inception date of the policy.
A major change that will occur is that we will be sending you a reminder listing on your web page A WEEK BEFORE THE PREMIUM IS DUE, instead of after the due date. Because of the additional payment options, we have to be diligent with our non payment notices or the customer could be in non pay cancellation and have another billing due. Cancellations for non payment will be issued the next business day following the due date.
We will be notifying all of our policyholders with a notice inserted in all bills and with all policy copies for the next 60 days. The new cancellation program will not begin until proper notice has been given to our policyholders.
