ACH, Automated Clearing House | Return to Agency Programs Bulleted List

First Electronic Commission Paid - 1997

October of 1997 marked a new first! Fulmont paid commissions electronically by ACH (Automated Clearing House) to 77% of its agency force. The agents that elected to have their commissions deposited electronically into their bank accounts received their money on October 6, 1997. This  was nine days before commission checks would normally be mailed. In the future, the electronic deposit will be done sometime between the 5th. and the 10th. of each month.

This is another program designed to show our appreciation to Fulmont agents.  If you are not receiving your commission electronically through ACH  and want to join this program contact your marketing rep or underwriter.

ACH is also available to policyholders at no service charge.

You may now pay your premium by ACH (Automated Clearing House) functions. ACH is an automated, secure, direct way to pay insurance premiums. We will be offering this ACH function to policyholders to pay insurance premiums in a single lump sum or a direct payment plan of up to four payments.

Here is how it works - You would authorize your bank to deduct from your checking account the selected amount of your insurance premium on a certain date (or dates - if you have selected the payment plan). This amount would then be transferred to our automated clearing house account.

The ACH method is strictly voluntary. Please note: you can still continue to pay your premium by check.

If you are interested in this new method of payment that will eliminate the cost of writing and mailing a check, please complete the authorization form, sign it and mail it to us.
